Better
Work, Better Life.
Work is central to the economic and social well-being of nearly
everyone, better work, better life. G H group is geared toward
optimizing people’s chances of success in their careers. Beyond
identifying specific work opportunities, this is reflected
in various tools and activities designed to support associates’
career aspirations, including an extensive array of skill
specific training programs in local markets. In 2005 G H Group
placed around 400 people in jobs. To ensure this role is fulfilled
responsibly, in 2005 G H group rolled out a new code of conduct,
‘The Way We Work’, and G H group Compliance and Ethics Program
and is signed up to the UN Global Compact.
G
H Group strives to enable the inclusion of disadvantaged people
into work and society. In 2005, this included helping 1200
people with disabilities find work through a European disability
and skills program, plus working with involved agencies to
support the recovery of livelihoods and community in Tsunami
hit Indonesia and India.
Insights
into Specialization:
The introduction of new method for business lines to complement
the traditional office and industrial business reflects the
need to get closer to candidate and clients’ needs in an era
of growing skill shortages that are being compounded by demographic
change.
The
specialist global business lines also enable G H Group to
concentrate and distribute industry insight, best practice
and new initiatives with a planetary oversight, thus realizing
optimal economies of scale and leveraging critical mass to
advantage.
In
a volatile labor market with both pressures and incentives
to adopt portfolio careers,
G H group forecasts that more and more individuals will value
a supportive and highly informed partner through whom they
can consistently access suitable work.
